The Brief

SOCIAL MEDIA SPIKED UP WITH MASSIVE FOLLOWERS WITHIN 6 MONTHS
HOYA Malaysia approached Rebelphase with the simple intention to design a demo tool for a coating product. After deep diving into HOYA’s strength and the optical industry, Rebels found that the market is over-flooded with common “model beauty approach” that does not present the product essence. Therefore, we proposed a new direction that brings out the best of the product, focusing on functions and USP.

The new thematic and tactical visual crafted received immediate positive feedback from HOYA and the distributors. Rebelphase continued to work with HOYA on campaigns, website development, gamification, offline demo tools and other marketing collaterals crossed online to offline platforms, extending from B2C to B2B.

Awareness campaign with gamification created by Rebelphase helped HOYA Malaysia’s Facebook page hits more than 50,000 Likes in 2 months. In a nutshell, HOYA achieved both brand consistency, awareness, reputation, and sales.
